C. Chan

Chris's practice is focused primarily on real estate law, where he advises clients on a broad range of commercial and residential real estate matters. His experience includes property acquisitions and dispositions, commercial financing, land development projects, and loan securitization transactions.

Drawing on a diverse background in both business and law, Chris takes a practical and results-oriented approach to helping clients navigate complex legal and commercial challenges. He is committed to understanding each client's objectives and delivering strategic solutions that support their long-term success.

Before being called to the Ontario Bar, Chris worked with Sun & Partners beginning in 2005 under the mentorship of Mr. Jimmy Sun. During this time, he gained extensive experience in natural resources, land development, and corporate and commercial matters, establishing a strong foundation for his legal practice.

Chris became a Partner of Sun & Partners Professional Corporation in 2020.

Outside of his professional practice, Chris enjoys exploring his creative side through culinary pursuits, experimenting with new recipes, and documenting his travels through photography.
